Dartmouth Dialogues is pleased to welcome Greg Lukianoff to campus for a conversation with Professor Jonathan Smolin, Professor of Middle Eastern Studies and Director of the Dartmouth Initiative for Middle East Exchange (DIMEX).

Greg Lukianoff is an attorney, New York Times best-selling author, and the president and CEO of the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE). 

Among other books, he co-authored The Coddling of the American Mind: How Good Intentions and Bad Ideas Are Setting Up a Generation for Failure with Jonathan Haidt, and its follow-up, The Canceling of the American Mind: Cancel Culture Undermines Trust and Threatens Us All — But There Is a Solution with Rikki Schlott. 

Most recently, Greg co-authored The War On Words: 10 Arguments Against Free Speech — And Why They Fail with Nadine Strossen, which was released in July 2025.
